Fair Isle
Finally, some progress to show on Katherine. May my present my first finished repeat:

Something finally clicked. I can now do fair isle and (mostly) listen to something else at the same time. I'm just loving it!
I also managed to pick up some speed. My only problem is that when I got faster, my tension got all mucked up. I have some puckering on the lighter colors that I am not going to unravel to fix. I'm trying now learn to keep up the speed as well as keeping an even tension. I love my sweater already! My goal is to try to complete it before the state fair comes around again next year. I have to admit that I wasn't much impressed with the knitting that was displayed there this year. Even with the puckering at the bottom, I still think it stands a chance at a ribbon, if this year's entries are any measuring stick.
I've now got another knitting problem on my hands. I don't want to knit anything else. My daughter may outgrow the the sweater I started before it's finished, and Hubby and Step Dad could both really use a nice warm wool hat this winter (which I've already bought the wool for) but all I want to do is fair isle.

Yay, for a while there, I was worried that I might have influenced you to do something you didn't enjoy. A bit like my relationship with socks!
It looks wonderful, Wendi. You should be proud of yourself!

That is beautiful! It looks like you've gotten a lot done. Decisions, decisions - so many projects, so little time. When it comes to crafting, I have a hard time doing what I should do and usually go with what I want to do...
