Tudor Roses
I've been waffling around for a little while; wanting to learn faire isle, but afraid to try. It looks so impressive, I keep thinking that there's some kind of magic to it. My knitting hero, Marina ,
finally asked me exactly what I was waiting for, which was just the kick in the pants that I needed. I went straightaway and joined this:

This was very timely for me, because I happened to win this book on Ebay last month, and have been enamored with many of the sweaters in the book. I'm a history buff as well, so the whole thing just suits me to a T. I haven't picked the sweater that I'm starting with yet, but I'm committed, and looking forward to it.
In other knitting news, I've finished knitting all of the pieces of Bless, but we've had badly needed rain all week, so picture taking is useless. I've been procrastinating on the blocking and seaming (my least favorite tasks), but I'm going to make myself get started on it tonight.
I'm currently working on my second of the Rainforest Jasper socks.
I've lost my momentum on the destashing. It's a lot of work to take all of those pictures and post stuff, and answer emails, etc. I'm glad I've done it, because I've now got one empty bin, but I've taken a bit of a break from it during the last week. I need to start up again soon, because I've got several more bins staring me in the face that I'd like to get out of my office/library.

Won the book? Won it! I am soooo jealous! I bought it for a ridiculous sum of money and I've never knit a thing from it. Yet. Starting Eliz once my yarn gets here.

WEndi, so happy to have you at the Tudor Roses KAL. Have you chosen a pattern yet?
I'm so happy too to have Marina on board, that although I'm knitting Eliz I, I'm also going for broke and going to knit Jane Seymour - whilst Marina is around to help me.
love your profile too - the bit about keeping priorities in order.
good luck seaming
