I've got one of the best husbands around. We really are best friends, and would rather spend time with each other than with anyone else.
Mother's day ends up being kind of like another anniversary for us. It's a day to celebrate what our love for each other has created... our children. I'm daily grateful that God made me a mother. My children are my treasure.
I planted links to different yarn shops in hubby's favorites folder, hoping he'd get a sweater kit, or gift certificate for my Mother's day gift. I'm glad I didn't get what I asked for. Instead, he bought something I've always wanted, a string of pearls! (Real ones!)I'm smitten all over again!

Incidentally, I'm the opposite of an anorexic. I'm always thinking I'm skinnier than I am, then I'm shocked when I see a picture of myself and I look so chubby!
