KNITTING OLYMPICS & LOVED SOCK YARN

This yarn is unloved no more!
My husband's comment was "You lucked out!". It's black and white Opal, a brand that I've always wanted to try; and Lion Brand self striping yarn. Thanks sock pal, and Thanks Beth for hostessing!

My Knitting Olympics news:

This is what my Olympic sweater looked like this morning. It's the Klaralund that I bought yarn for at the beach. I've been a bit concerned about whether or not I'll be able to pull this off. For two days I had a bit of pain in my wrists, which I thought was very odd. The longest I've been able to sit and knit at one time has been 2 hours in the evening. I've done that many times, so why am I hurting now???
I considered dropping out, because I want to still be able to pick up my baby! I took yestday off from knitting, and this morning it felt better, so I'll forge on ahead.
I have more to update, but since it's Valentine's, I'm heading off to be with my sweetie!

I just wanted to let you know that I received the sock yarn! I love it, but my mom has already called "dibs" on it. She's been wanting me to make her some cotton socks for a long time, and now I have no excuse not to! I hope to get some pictures up on my blog soon. Thanks so much!
